K. Sawyer Negro, DDS, MSD

 
 

K. Sawyer Negro grew up in Illinois but found his home in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, he earned his Degree of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During dental school, he was president of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry (AAPHD) and active in many volunteer-based activities. The Indian Health Services department granted him an externship in Alaska, where he worked in Barrow and the small village of Point Lay. After graduating, he then earned a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, along with his Master’s in Science of Dentistry. His thesis concentrated on social workers and children in foster care. He, his wife, and their daughter love spending time cycling, backpacking, hiking, skiing, fishing, gardening, and reading.

Dr. Sawyer is Board Certified, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
